Foundations of Engineering Excellence
Suthichok Teeraniti founded K.G. Engineering at the age of 24,
leveraging his Khon Kaen University education and experience at MEA,
where he helped develop Thailand’s Safety & Installation Standards for
underground high- and low-voltage distribution systems in housing
developments. A Chartered Electrical Engineer since 1990, he led key
early projects, including Calbee Factory, Land & Houses residential
developments, and various condominium projects.
Thailand’s First Underground Cable Residential Project
K.G. Engineering designed and installed Thailand’s first underground
high- and low-voltage distribution system for Land & Houses, establishing
its reputation in electrical infrastructure. The company expanded into
major projects in Thailand and abroad, including Imperial World Ladprao,
Royal Angkor International Hospital, and Phnom Penh International Airport.
In 1999, K.G. became Thailand’s first ISO 9001-certified engineering firm.
It also pioneered Thailand’s first Prefabricated Condominium project,
a collaboration with Land & Houses and Marubeni (Japan), completing
over 100 buildings in six years.
Managing Thailand’s First Metro Line
K.G. Engineering managed operations and maintenance (O&M) of
Bangkok’s Blue Metro Line for seven years, ensuring safe and efficient
terminal operations. This milestone strengthened its M&E engineering
expertise and paved the way for its specialization in hospital infrastructure.
The Birth of KG Solar
Recognizing the potential of renewable energy, K.G. Engineering launched
solar R&D, led by Gunn and Meen Teeraniti (MEng, Durham University;
MSc Economics, London School of Economics). Under the 2015 Government
Solar Rooftop Scheme, K.G. became Thailand’s largest residential solar
investor, installing 800+ rooftop systems (7+ MW) across 30 provinces,
selling electricity to MEA and PEA. These systems remain under KG’s
management, marking over a decade of success. This transformation led to
K.G. Engineering’s evolution into K.G. Corporation and the birth of KG Solar.
Expanding Commercial Solar Leadership
KG Solar expanded into commercial solar, completing a 2.2 MW project at the
Government Complex in 2017. In 2019, it entered the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)
market, signing one of Thailand’s first PPAs with BMW. Notable projects, including
Royal Bangkok Sports Club (RBSC) and Ekachai Hospital, further solidified its reputation
for quality and engineering excellence.
In 2022, Mate Teeraniti (MEng, Oxford University) led KG Solar’s return to the residential
market, with a focus on high-quality solar solutions.

KG Solar is a trusted leader in solar, with 2,000+ installations across
66 provinces and an installed capacity exceeding 100,000 kW. Meanwhile,
K.G. Corporation remains at the forefront of M&E engineering for hospitals
and hospitality, recently completing the 20,000 sqm Synphaet Medical
