A small tag has seconds to do its job
Finders look at a tag for only a few seconds, so the details need to be short, clear and let them contact you straight away.
What to include
1. A phone number that works
The most important detail. Use a number you answer often, and add a second household number if you can.
2. Your pet's name
It helps the finder call your pet, which can calm them down.
3. A note to the finder
For example "I'm lost, please call my owner", so people know your pet has a home.

4. Important health information
If your pet needs daily medication or has a condition to watch, say so briefly. Finders will call sooner.
What to leave off
- Your full home address. A district is enough.
- Personal details that aren't needed, such as ID numbers.
- Old numbers you no longer use. Check the tag whenever your number changes. A digital tag like Pettagu Tag can be updated in the app.
